Our Broadmeadow clinic is located at 22 Brunker Road, on the corner of Heddon Street. We’re centrally located and easily accessible from surrounding suburbs like Hamilton, Adamstown, and New Lambton.

  • Please note: there are three steps at the front entry and no disability access at this location

Do I need a referral to see a psychologist at The Hummingbird Centre Broadmeadow?

No, you don’t need a referral to make an appointment. However, if you do have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

Can I use Medicare to help cover the cost?

Yes. If you have a valid referral under a Mental Health Care Plan or an Eating Disorder Management Plan (EDMP) from your GP, you can access Medicare rebates.

  • With a Mental Health Care Plan, you may be eligible for up to 10 rebated sessions each year.
  • With an Eating Disorder Management Plan, eligible clients may access up to 40 rebated sessions per year under Medicare.
 
Do you offer therapy for children and families?

Yes. We work with individuals of all ages and support families in navigating a wide range of mental health, emotional, and behavioural concerns.

What types of therapy do you offer at Broadmeadow?

Our clinicians use a variety of therapies, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Neurofeedback, Schema Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches. Therapy is always tailored to the individual and their goals.
