Yoga for Strengthening Relationships

The term ‘yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit term ‘yuj’ meaning ‘union’ or ‘to join’. And that is exactly what these sessions hope to achieve – a deepening of the union between couples. Using a combination of partner-based postures and flow sequences, trust exercises, mindful activities and guided therapeutic discussion, this eight week course aims to strengthen relationships through movement, play, touch, intimacy and education. This course is designed specifically for couples, to strengthen communication, create and nurture trust and security, and bring about a sense of joy and connection.
