During these unprecedented times it is important to stay connected. This is especially true for new parents! All Mums and Dads are welcome to join our online parents group "Parent Chatter" if you've had a child in the last 6 months.
Parent Chatter is a friendly, welcoming online video conference run by a team of midwives, Registered Nurses and Social Workers specialising in both child development and parent well-being. In Parent Chatter, you are free to ask every and any question about your new baby, all while connecting with other new parents, collectively learning how to emotionally survive and thrive through the new born period in a time surrounded by uncertainty and isolation.
Sarah Galal, a Registered Nurse and experienced midwife from Pouches Parent and Child Health, will be hosting these online groups using the Zoom app, which is free to download. Sarah will be joined by Vicki Mansfield, a Social Worker at The Hummingbird Centre, with years of experience working in Antenatal clinics and maternity wards. Sarah and Vicki can answer all your questions on sleeping and settling, feeding, bathing, health, wrapping, socialisation, attachment, bonding, parent well-being and any other parenting questions you have.
To book a spot at any of our Parent Chatter groups in May and June please use our online booking system, or phone 49460919.
